eu.Reca is at it once again, working on the next album in Philadelphia. Looking for a more acoustic and dynamic sound with a vibrant stage performance, Red Richards is collaborating with a diverse group of talented musicians. eu.Reca’s new MC, hailing from Brooklyn, Ceaser Live Soul is a powerful rapper with an energetic stage presence. Drew “Hondo” Felder, Philly born and raised bassist and composer/arranger, is bringing his expertise and creativity to the band. Ryan Seay, classically trained trombone player and and drummer Gabriel GH, both from the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, are also contributing to this new opus.

Neo Pop. Born between a bedroom in Brooklyn and a basement in Boston, Happy Lives is a conflict. Mike Lande writes and records everything AKA whatever he wants. What is catchy? What is strange? And what does it mean to get down. No instrument, genre, or personality is off-limits. His cohort, Julian Beel, using DJ-software for a scalpel, re-imagines the pieces to fit any mood and location. With Beel at the digital helm, Lande takes off live. Party.
The Black Box at Underground Arts is a 200 person capacity arts space and music venue located in Philadelphia’s Eraserhood on 12th and Callowhill street between the Trestle Inn and Prohibition Taproom.
Home to the mutlimodal art experience, we host cutting edge DJs and live musicians as well as performance and visual artists.
