Suzanne Dinger’s “Eraserhood” is one of her works on display at the Veridian Gallery in Pennington.

What do crowds of pedestrians as seen from above, an abandoned 100-year-old factory and about a dozen hats have in common?

Well, for one thing, they’re all portrayed in an exhibit of pastel and oil paintings now running at Veridian Gallery in Pennington.

But, taking them a step further, they’re what the artist, Suzanne Dinger, says she finds most interesting: “the interplay of figures, shadows, patterns and architecture.”
