Join us on December 5th from 7-9 pm for a panel discussion
on the future of Philadelphia’s three mile unused rail corridor.
We’ll be discussing how student and community involvement
can encourage development of the site. Paul vanMeter, of
VIADUCTgreene, Ashby Leavell, Longwood Gardens graduate
fellow, John Struble of Reading Viaduct Project, Julie Beckman,
PennDesign Lecturer, and Mark B. Thompson, architect for
Fairmount Water Works, will discuss the role of student and
community vision in progressing the railroad’s future. The
conversation will be led by Next American City’s executive
director Diana Lind.
