Thursday May 29 , 1pm is the oral argument before Common Pleas in the appeal of the digital billboard conversion permit issued to Steen Outdoor for the sign at 1113 Vine St.
This is the full-sized (20×60 ft) billboard at the base of the Reading Viaduct. It is currently a traditional (static) sign but the permit would allow both sides to be converted to a digital LED sign. Such signs are prohibited in this location by federal and city zoning codes. The hearing is open to anyone who would like to attend, and your show of support would be welcomed.
Thursday, May 29th at 1:30pm
City Hall, courtroom 426.
Use the north east entrance and a photo ID is required when you sign in at the front desk.
