Food/Film: Eraserhead – Fringe Arts
Monday, May 15, 2017 – 8pm
Venue: FringeArts
140 N. Columbus Blvd
Philadelphia, PA 19106
Corner of Columbus Blvd and Race Street“What makes Eraserhead great—and still, perhaps the best of all Lynch’s films? Intensity. Nightmare clarity. And perhaps also it’s the single-mindedness of its vision.” –Michael Wilmington, Chicago Tribune
David Lynch’s surreal and seminal feature-length film debut portrays Philadelphia as a desolate black-and-white industrial landscape, devoid of warmth. The film is at once a beautiful look into the mind of protagonist Harry (Jack Nance), a lost dreamer, and a haunting portrayal of marriage and responsibility.
$20 / includes film and light meal (stay tuned for menu details)

The Complete TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME – Tickets – PhilaMOCA – Philadelphia, PA – May 19th, 2017 | Ticketfly
UPDATE: 2nd screening added for Friday, May 20 at 7:30, tickets available now: http://www.ticketfly.com/
event/1452194 To celebrate the upcoming resurrection of TWIN PEAKS, PhilaMOCA will host a screening of the complete 3.5 hour cut of TWIN PEAKS: FIRE WALK WITH ME. It’s the original theatrical cut with all of the Missing Pieces footage integrated throughout according to the film’s original script. That means more Special Agent Chet Desmond (Chris Isaak), more Phillip Jeffries (David Bowie), appearances from just about every character from the original program that were removed from the theatrical cut (Big Ed, Truman, Pete, Andy, Lucy, Hawk, so many more!), and more footage of the Black Lodge that provides i…nsight into the show’s mysteries and complements Mark Frost’s recent book. The result feels more like an extended episode of the original show and will surely please those who were left unsatisfied with the film’s original cut.
Lynch himself stated that the last seven days of Laura Palmer’s life are integral to the new season so now is your chance to catch up before the show debuts the following night.
