EARLY WARNING (1981)
It wouldn’t be a political film series without a conspiracy film! One of the classics of Christian conspiracy cinema, 1981’s EARLY WARNING concerns the One World Foundation, a Satanic international organization set on ruling the world through bar codes and the suppression of vital resources. A Christian journalist teams up with a non-believer newsman to uncover the truth and are pursued by the Foundation up to a laughably bleak ending that, if anything, illustrates the dangers of committing one’s life to the faith (the opposite of the filmmakers’ intentions, of course). This one is gonna be a ton of fun with a crowd.
