Violent night in Philly leaves one dead, five wounded – philly.com

…police responded to a report of a shooting on the 300 block of North 11th Street. In a house on that block, they found a 16-year-old boy who had been shot in the left calf and right ankle.

The teenager told police a masked man had chased him, firing a gun. He refused to tell the officers anything else, police said.

No arrests had been made, and police had not determined a motive in the case. They described the shooter as a thin black male between 16 and 18 years old, standing 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inch tall, wearing a light-gray hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask.
