David Lynch’s mysterious “BIcycle” drawing to finally be exhibited

Sources inside Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA) have confirmed, today, that David Lynch’s seminal drawing, I Will be Riding a Bicycle, will finally see the light of day this September as part of the upcoming David Lynch: The Unified Field exhibit. The drawing, which has been buried in PAFA’s files since 1974, when the federal government suppressed it under the terms of The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), has become briefly available under special waiver, specifically in order to include it in this exhibition.

BLUE VELVET – THE 2014 RE-RELEASE

“Do it for Van Gogh !”

The “In Dreams” Spoke Art show tribute to the films of David L. will end on March 29th. Amongst the artworks displayed in this gallery, one of my favourites is this great painting by Fernando Reza, entitled “Do it for Van Gogh !” You have of course noticed the perfect homage to Vincent Van Gogh’s “A Wheatfield with Cypresses” (see a picture of the original in the comments)

Airplanes passed by slowly in the sky. Rubber toys…

“Airplanes passed by slowly in the sky. Rubber toys floated on the water. Meals seemed to last five years and nap time seemed endless. And the world was so small. I can’t remember being able to see more than a couple of blocks. And those couple of blocks were huge. So all the details were blown out of proportion.”
